Behr India has a state-of-the-art facility at Chakan, near Pune to cater to the domestic and export customers. The Company has an assembly & production plant, which has facilities such as specially designed workstations, assembly fixtures and advanced machinery for producing air conditioning kits for domestic customers.
The company has recently set up production facilities for manufacturing products in the Engine Cooling system like Visco Coupling, Condensers, Radiators, and Charge Air Coolers with the latest technology.
The Global Sourcing division of Behr India plays a key role in sourcing and exporting of products like wiring harness, EGR parts, Gravity Die Casting, Pressure Die Casting and Rubber parts from India.
The Company has made substantial investment in the latest hardware and software for product design & simulation to develop system solutions for vehicles in India and abroad. Advanced engineering tools like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) are used to enhance the efficiency, performance, durability and cost effectiveness of the products.
The organization has established a new plant of 18200 sqm at Pune. The plant has the capacity to assemble 1200 HVAC per day, 3800 heat exchanges per day and 1000 visco clutches per day . The current per day production capacity of the plant is HVAC Modules 750, Condensers 575 (Nocolok), Car Radiator 200, Truck Radiator 100 and Visco Fan 600.
